BUCKINGHAM PALACE Gin is a London Dry Gin produced in small batches of approximately 1,000 bottles each in a traditional pot still.
The gin has unmistakably royal provenance, as many of its citrus and herbal notes come from plants carefully harvested in the gardens of Buckingham Palace. It was created with the assistance of several royal staff members, who were consulted throughout the production process.
Lemon verbena, hawthorn berries, bay leaves, and mulberry leaves are among the 12 botanicals hand-picked for the gin in these gardens.
The gardens extend over 16 hectares and are thus the largest private garden in the capital.
In addition to bay leaves from the garden, the finest Spanish bitter and sweet orange peels are also used. Chamomile blossoms are also used to give the gin a floral note.
Juniper, coriander seeds and other botanicals, which are also contained in this dry gin, come from some of the best producers worldwide.
BUCKINGHAM PALACE Coronation Dry Gin combines the fresh citrus character of the traditional dry style with a pleasant sweetness of dark fruits.
On the nose, there is an initial delicate note of rose and orange, which then transforms into a tangy citrus aroma on the palate and glides into a warming wave of berries and spices on the finish.
