M&H DISTILLERY

The M&H DISTILLERY is Israel's first and only whisky distillery in Tel Aviv.


Since its founding in 2012, the distillery began operations under the guidance of the late whisky legend Dr. Jim Swan and places the utmost importance on quality and innovation. The distillery adheres to Scottish whisky standards and regulations "down to the smallest detail," from production through fermentation, distillation, maturation, blending, and bottling. The ingredients, equipment, casks, and production process are carefully managed to ensure a truly world-class, premium product.

Due to the hot climate with high humidity, M&H DISTILLERY's whisky matures quickly and brings out the cask flavor, giving even a young distillate much of the flavor and characteristics of a whisky that would otherwise have to mature much longer in colder climates.

Also part of the distillery's core range is the award-winning Levantine Gin , which impresses with local botanicals such as za'atar, lemon peel, orange and lemon verbena.

This single malt whisky matured entirely in three former beer barrels from the family-run Shapiro Brewery, located in the Jerusalem Hills and one of the leading pioneers of the local craft brewing movement.

Coffee candy and rich cocoa powder, roasted nuts with a pinch of crushed white pepper.
Taste:
Chocolates filled with cherry liqueur, strong oak notes with hints of toffee and dried sage leaves.

M&H DISTILLERY APEX TERROIR SEA OF GALILEE

Der See Genezareth ist ein Ort der Gegensätze: feucht durch das Binnenmeer, zugleich aufgeheizt von der nahöstlichen Sonne. Dort, wo der See in den Jordan übergeht, reifen unsere Fässer – an einem Punkt, an dem Naturkräfte in entgegengesetzte Richtungen wirken: Feuchtigkeit entzieht Alkohol, Hitze lässt Wasser verdunsten.


Aus diesem Spannungsfeld entsteht ein Whisky mit unverwechselbarem Charakter: warme Gewürze wie aus einem orientalischen Markt treffen auf die dichte Süße von Dattelsirup – ein authentischer Ausdruck des Terroirs.


Geruch: 

Reife Bananen und exotische Datteln treffen auf geröstete Nüsse und feine orientalische Würze.

Schwankende Temperaturen und Luftfeuchtigkeit hinterlassen ihren Fingerabdruck – und verleihen dem Whisky eine bislang unerreichte Tiefe und Charaktervielfalt.



Geruch:

Süß mit französischer Vanille und Mokka, Noten von Zigarrenkiste und einem erfrischenden Hauch von Minze, angenehme Eichenholznoten im Hintergrund.


Geschmack:
